Is viagra bad for a 17 year old?

I’ve been thinking about buying some viagra but I’m only 17 and i’m not sure if it’s a good idea. Can anyone just tell me if viagra is a bad idea for a 17 year old and why?

Chosen Answer:

Viagra won’t mess up your hormones, but it can be problematic for a 17 year old in that it can cause priapism, a painful erection lasting more than 4 hours. Might sound pleasant (did I emphasize *painful*?), but it can cause damage to the penis, possibly causing inability to get erect (even if one tries using Viagra again after being treated). As a 17 year old, your testosterone should be in the upper third of the reference range (700+ ng/dL in a reference range of 300-1000 ng/dL), & a higher level of testosterone puts you at a higher risk of priapism when throwing Viagra & similar ED drugs into the mix.

If you’re 17 & having erectile difficulties, you should go to a doctor & ask him to test you to see why that’s happening rather than trust overseas drugs of questionable quality.

    why do you need it?

  10. Danielle D says:

Do you NEED Viagra? A 17 year old boy shouldn’t need Viagra. If you are having problems, you really need to talk to your doctor and skip the Viagra.

Yeah it’s pretty much bad for everyone, and especially if your hormone levels are already pretty high (which they should be at 17). It can be dangerous for your heart. If you’re having trouble in ‘that’ area, I would see your doctor-don’t be embarrassed, they’ve seen it all.

lol you cant get it up by yourself lol well it can be depending on if you have any heart or prostate problems

don’t quote me on this but i don’t think so

i knew a guy whose friends slipped tons of them into his drink and he had to go to hospital, they gave him an icepack.

Since it can cause heart attack deaths in young men. I would say yes.. it is very bad for a 17 year old.

  18. jirokeiji says:

I think it is. First of all, it might be a concern that you can’t get an erection at 17. Secondly, you’re underage so you might want to wait until you’re 18. Also, are you having sex? Are is this just for… uh personal pleasure? I’m not an expert but I don’t think it’s a good idea.

Well dude I’m 17 and i think its crazy that your thinking about viagra. i mean easily i can get up just by thinking about something. if your problems “getting up” then id say you masterbate too much, or you really gotta problem and you should see your doctor.

It’s pretty clear that you would be buying it on the black market since I doubt that any doctor would prescribe it for you. Like all drugs it does have side effects. I am pretty sure you know that this is not designed for young men, and that it could be dangerous to take anything not prescribed for you.

I thought teenage boys had enough stamina to bounce of walls! ha! I am not sure it would be a good idea to get into the viagra I always thought it was aimed at the older generation for erectile problems.
But if you have problems with your pee pee I would suggest you see your doctor first, God knows what viagra could do to a young growing boy. I wouldnt suggest it dude, unless you had a problem ‘down there’

sorry but hehe u said viagra and if you need it then go for it but itd kind of a turn off cuz that means you gotta pump urself full of pills to get hard and for it haarming you i dont think so but go ask your doctor

  23. Orochi says:

You’re not old enough for it, anyway.

  24. Patrick D says:

Viagra’s bad for everyone, bad for the heart, makes you fart (maybe not). I haven’t used it but it’s more likely to make you last too long to be fair, and piss the girl off. If you’re worried about length of time try masturbating then stopping just as you’re about to ejaculate, and do this as many times as you can. Helps wi control.

  25. Nate D says:

Yes. If your are having erectile dysfunction at this age GO TO A DOCTOR, it could be the sign of a big problem.

If you do not have problems of the such you do not need viagra, it does not make you preform better if you are not having performance problems.

  26. scorpiorising75 says:

It’s bad because you don’t need it to get an erection. It’s not worth the risk of PRIAPISM.

Look it up. Pay special attention to the medical interventions that are needed to relieve it.
